Far too many people don't understand my absolute love for country music or ever take the journey I dare them to take and find a song that tells a story of any moment in life. Greggie is beyond my best friend and of all the things we could never relate to with each other, it's always been the gap in music. But somehow, along the way, I fallen in love with some of his special songs and I've miraculously managed to swing him to love a country song or two.
It's not all country, but seems to have settled for my favourite band. Rascal Flatts have seen me through many moments of heartache, sadness, insecurity of downright fun ... and then there was the time I share a song with Greggie, who recently used it to help him and the family of a dear friend of his deal with the loss of someone very special.
Today, I'm having a crap day! I tried to be healthy and lasted until the chocolate and packet of crisps. I tried to be happy and that lasted until life didn't make me happy anymore. I tried to be positive until I felt so much negativity around me ... and then I turned to Country Music!
... And then I we reminded that I have one constant in my life! My friend Greggie!
