Tough Start to 2024? -  Understanding Your Numerology to Ease the Uncertainty

22 March 2024

We are almost a third of the way into the year, and I haven’t been drawn to help explain the energy of the numbers this intensely since we were struck by Covid. In some ways, that uncertainty seems timid compared to the people reaching out to me and asking, “What the hell is going on?”

Honestly, I have had my wobbles as much as anyone else this year, and as I speak to people I care about, we have all felt a challenging and tumultuous start to the year.

The numbers never lead us astray, and with 2024 being an 8 in numerology, the archetype associated with the energy is the Achiever, bringing with it a call for us to recognise our ambition, power, and determination. I won’t be offended if you get frustrated with this statement, but this energy is driving each of us to discover the unique traits within us to overcome the challenges that are driving us to dig deep for our resilience and courage.

The energy of the number 8 propels us towards self-empowerment, despite feeling like our personal growth and well-being are under attack.

It may feel like the degree of self-reliance is exhausting, and if you are trying to solve all your problems on your own, that’s not the solution.

Are you usually reluctant to seek help or support from others?

While independence is valuable, we are being guided to be honest about when assistance is needed and if we are resisting vulnerability. With a new layer of being open to receiving, we overcome the downfalls such as burnout or breaking down, where the solution is finding experts, collaborators, and comforters.

Will and determination may come up as a theme to check in with yourself. Look out for places where your stubbornness and inflexibility are being misunderstood as steadfastness. I have a sneaky suspicion that someone around you is going to find the confidence to point it out to you because this is often a blind spot in ourselves. Not shooting the messenger is also going to take tapping into the gift of the 8 by being open to others’ perspectives and working through changing conversations.

The archetype of the Achiever encourages you to tap into your inner strength and confidence, reminding you that you can overcome any obstacle that comes your way. By focusing on your determination and resilience, you can navigate uncertainty and find your way to clarity.

Instead of drowning in doubt and hesitancy, you can use this energy to take decisive steps and empower yourself to shape your destiny. By embracing your capabilities and acknowledging your achievements, you can silence the voice of self-criticism and cultivate a positive and empowering mindset.

You can look at what is happening to you as unfair challenges and life being cruel and unkind, but the call of this year is for you to witness the resilience you have in the face of challenges. Instead of letting setbacks and failures discourage you, you can use them as opportunities for growth and learning. By viewing challenges as stepping stones to success rather than barriers, you can overcome feelings of disheartenment and emerge stronger and more determined than ever.

This is the year where your confidence in decision-making is going to be in the spotlight to take charge of your life and trust in your abilities to make empowered choices, depending on how anchored you are in your self-worth. If you do not understand yourself and trust in your inner voice to guide you, then this is the ideal time to do any self-awareness work that helps you meet your most authentic self.

If you don’t know where to start, then consider a numerology reading with me or book a compilatory exploratory 30-minute call to understand the self-awareness work we could do together.

Client feedback: Hi Jodene, I wanted to let you know that the 1-page year numerology summary that you sent (*pdf) has been super helpful to look at. I really appreciate the reminder. Sending you love! – C.L (United States).

In the meantime, here is a taste of the opportunities to achieve and reclaim your power according to your life path number:

If you do not know your life path number, add the day, month, and year of your birthday together until it comes to one single number. E.g. 20, 1982, add 2+0 = 2, 1+0 = 1, 1+9+8+2 = 20 = 2. Now add 2 + 1 + 2 = 5 Life Path Number. Do not narrow down 11, 22, or 33, as they are master numbers.

Life Path 1: As the archetype of the Innovator, feeling overwhelmed by pressure to succeed or taking on too much responsibility could lead to frustration or burnout. However, embracing your personal power, feeling in control, and being confident in your ability to take charge and lead others should hold the key to you feeling aligned with your potential.

Life Path 2: As the archetype of the Mediator, you could struggle with feelings of powerlessness or inadequacy, especially in situations where you must assert yourself or take control. However, by owning your power, you should find confidence in your relationships and ability to collaborate, knowing that where you choose to contribute, you will be most valuable.

Life Path 3: As the archetype of the Entertainer, dealing with self-doubt and inner criticism could limit your creative and expressive efforts, causing a feeling of not being recognised or appreciated. However, trusting your communication and creativity should inspire confident self-expression and may hold the key to honouring your unique voice and talent.

Life Path 4: As the archetype of the Builder, feeling trapped or stuck in a rut and struggling to see a way out or make progress could highlight your rigidity or need for control. However, feeling confident in your practicality and reliability should help you build a strong foundation for yourself and others. Knowing that you do not have to over engineer your hard work will pay off.

Life Path 5: As the archetype of the Free-Spirit, you may not be able to ignore the feelings of restlessness or being unsettled and could crave change to spark excitement, which you may not know how to achieve without power struggles. However, you should be able to embrace your call for adventure and be confident in change, doing so with the awareness of how to consciously find your freedom.

Life Path 6: As the archetype of the Harmoniser, you may acknowledge how long you have been feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities and want to catch it before it leads to feelings of guilt or resentment. However, you should find confidence in your nurture and care for others without disempowering yourself, knowing that love and support are two-way streets.

Life Path 7: As the archetype of the Scholar, feeling isolated or disconnected from others or struggling to find meaning or purpose in your experiences could feel disempowering. However, feeling confident in your insightfulness, and search for truth and intuition, should lead you to trust your perspective and know that you are following your higher purpose.

Life Path 8: As the archetype of the Achiever, dealing with issues related to control and power, either feeling too dominant or not assertive enough, could highlight where you disempower yourself. However, feeling confident in your personal power and capabilities you should reconnect with your strength and determination to succeed.

Life Path 9: As the archetype of the Humanitarian, feeling drained by the needs of others and your selflessness could have you struggling to find the time or energy to transform yourself. However, feeling confident in your ability to measure how much compassion and impact you need to make in the world should empower you with the ability to give generously to others with a healthy reserve for yourself.

Life Path 11: As the archetype of the Intuitive, feeling overwhelmed by unconscious empathy and not guiding your intuition may cause an inner struggle to prioritise the impact you make on others and the overwhelm you feel within yourself. However, feeling confident in your self-awareness and how much of yourself to give as inspiration should help you find the balance between feeling purposeful and prioritising your personal growth.

Life Path 22: As the archetype of the Master Builder, feeling overwhelmed by the magnitude of your vision or the responsibilities associated with your vision may cause a struggle to stay grounded and focused. However, you should be able to anchor yourself in feeling confident in your ability to create lasting change, knowing that you have the skills and determination to make a difference.

Life Path 33: As the archetype of the Enlightened, feeling burdened by the needs of others or the weight of how you take on others’ ambitions may cause a struggle to find a balance between your well-being and your desire to help. However, feeling confident in your ability to serve others without losing your desire to fulfil your highest potential should come from trusting that you are guided and supported by your universe.
