If you are reading this a second time around, it's because I stepped into the year with a combination of pain and vulnerability. So typical of Venus Retrograde to force self-love, when I want to be highly irritated with myself. I have a pinched nerve in my neck and it's so sore that thinking has been a challenge. It crept into this week's blog with me getting some of the astrology dates wrong. There is no moon phase this week and Mercury is on Thursday, so here we go again, with the edited version ...
Welcome to the first week of the year where many people kick back into action. The numerology aligns perfectly with it, but before we begin. We kick the week off with the decisive and commanding energy of the 8 on Monday. Diving straight into an important theme for the year is to pace yourself and not throw yourself into any workaholic tendencies.
Tuesday is a 9 energy that will be calling for creative ways to find that sense of routine you are settling into. Don’t be slammed with obligations and if you are, then use creative ways to change the patterns that don’t serve you.
The 1 energy of Wednesday aligns with the January energy and may not mix well with the energy of the year if you are dealing with being overly independent or confident. This could be a humbling day when you watch the impact your fear of vulnerability is having on you and those around you.
On Thursday, the 2 energy will bring a gentle sincerity between you and those you care about. Partnering with those who understand how to adapt to the changing way you have worked hard to become will be at the forefront of your mind.
Friday’s 3 energy may feel scattered, where you will need to relook at all you decided to dive into with passion and eagerness. Take time to prioritise so that you don’t lose the fun in what you are working on.
On Saturday, the 4 energy will have you looking at the little details that need attention. Watch for being too serious and split your time between what has to be done and what will feel joyful to you.
We end the week with the 5 energy on Sunday. Shifting gears and being free from responsibility may be the voice in your head you want to listen to, as this is an important theme for the year. Don’t push the wrong agenda today.
We have our first Mercury retrograde starting on Thursday in Aquarius. Watch for starting off a bit dreamy and then seeing the reality of what life really looks like. Look at any old issues that resurface for you to do something different.

My money story is a long and tiring one, with so many lessons that I would never have learned about myself any other way. It is far from done being my conscious guide and I understand how money is a co-creator with the universe to navigate all of us to our bravery and highest potential. I am an active guide and coach for people with their money relationships – knowing that money issues never have anything to do with money.
