What is #D500 all about? - project me day 496

11 May 2011

No it's not a Samsung or a Nikon! It's not Daytona 500 or Indy 500! It might be a world record in a lot of things, but it's not my record. My record hits home on Sunday afternoon when I post my 500th entry to 'project me daily blog'.

All of a sudden #D500 has hit Twitter and I have peeps asking what it's all about. Of course, you have to know because I want you there.

What started out as the idea to have a large pot of soup on the stove for a couple of friends on the 15th of May 2011 has now become a full blown event. If you ask me how it happened, I have to admit that it was a journey as unexpected as most other things that happen on a daily basis in my life ... but we are here and it's all happening at an event on Sunday and live on Twitter and my blog.

As we speak, Greg is finishing his magical touches to the press release for Sunday and my incredible network of friends are spreading the word.

I, on the other hand, am?overwhelmed?by the response to #D500 and decided that answering one person at a time might be a full time job for the next 4 days ... so here goes:

Here is your official invite to join me online for #D500 on Twitter and on my blog at GMT +2 or 4pm SA time!

@cafeculturersa and @6on13th invite you to celebrate Jodene?s milestone of 500 days

500 days of blogging daily
500 days of living absolutely goallessly, yet totally purposefully
500 days of telling her story with courage, consciousness and a sense of humour
500 days of telling the truth

What does 500 days mean to you?

Join Jodene on her Twitter account @jodenecoza and tweet your congrats and comment live on the post (http://jodene.co.za/projectme) as the sun sets on day 500 of Project Me daily blog

Please #D500 or #projectme on Twitter!

    1. Thank you so much!!! It's always most special to hear from a fellow blogger who really understands the commitment to blogging. I hope to see you around on Twitter on Sunday ... what's your Twitter name?

  1. #D500 means connecting with others and truly getting to know them. It also means entertainment and humor.
